Description

This course introduces students to situations from history where failures, damage and even disasters have occurred as a result of engineering errors or unsuccessful choices. Students gain insight into why the most common problems in engineering mechanics occur, and learn to analyze problem situations, as well as try out various computer programs for accident calculations.
