The objective is to present a vision of product design with a mechanical emphasis that integrates the challenges of sustainable development, to be implemented in a collaborative context for the realization of a mechanical system. To achieve this, one must know and be able to implement the following elements:
- Understanding the challenges of sustainability (environmental impacts, resources, energy, transportation/mobility, etc.).
- Integrating environmental constraints into design (life cycle analysis, regulatory aspects, methods of analysis and decision-making in design, etc.).
- Being capable of implementing project management for the design and dimensioning of mechanical systems, using collaborative methods in an engineering office context
