Objectives
The aim of this module is to introduce the essential methods for analysing and processing deterministic signals. The applications illustrating this module come from telecommunications, RADAR signal analysis, vibration, non-destructive testing, etc.

-understanding the basic methods of transmitting information in telecommunications
-interpreting a signal and choosing an appropriate representation space
-understanding the role and operation of the components of an information processing or diagnostic aid chain
-be able to design an information transmission system or understand how an existing system works
