This module is directed towards students undertaking a course of study leading to the award of honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. It is intended to give an overall view of classical economics, current economic issues including growth and development. This module will introduce students to analysis of financial accounts.
The role of the Engineering Manager will be examined, including their likely role in a team.
Techniques to improve personal effectiveness at a professional level, and to manage team conflict will be examined and practised.
Techniques to plan an engineering project and to report on progress of same will be introduced.
