- Introductory elements: presentation of the site plan with contour lines, establishment of origin-destination points, explanation of the working method (requirements for project classes), multiplication/copying of plans, statement of the design assignment.
- Design in plan view – route variant 1: drawing alignments and connecting them with circular curves.
- Design in plan view – route variant 1: staking out, determining the elevations of stakes, establishing the road area and drainage possibilities.
- Design in longitudinal profile – route variant 1: the existing ground line / black line.
- Design in longitudinal profile – route variant 1: the design grade line / red line.
- Progressive curves versus circular curves.
- Design in plan view – route variant 2: drawing alignments and connecting them with progressive/transition curves.
- Design in plan view – route variant 2: staking out, determining the elevations of stakes, establishing the road area and drainage possibilities.
- Design in longitudinal profile – route variant 2: the existing ground line / black line.
