Mechatronics for Human-Centred Devices (TEDS semester module III)
BM0980

Description
This study course focuses on the integration of mechatronic systems in human-centred applications, with a
specific emphasis on assistive and biomedical devices such as prostheses. Students will gain hands-on experience
with core components of mechatronic systems—sensors, actuators, control logic—and learn how to apply them
to real-world designs developed in the TED School project. The course combines lectures, simulation-based labs,
and prototyping exercises to prepare students to design, test, and integrate control systems for wearable,
sustainable, and user-safe mechanical devices.
