Course program
Laboratory exercises:
1) Single-phase transformer at no load, no-load currents, third harmonic;
2) Single-phase transformer, no-load and DC test, identification of the c.e.
3) Three-phase transformer, connections, harmonics, star center rotation, no-load and DC test;
4) Asynchronous machine, no-load and DC test, identification of the c.e. tracing of the correct circular diagram;
5) Asynchronous machine, automated tracing of the electromechanical characteristic using a magtrol system, measurement of industrial efficiency;
6) Amperian excitation synchronous machine: measurement of the resistance of the windings and of the synchronous reactance;
7) Brushless generator, determination of the no-load characteristic, AC resistance of the windings and of the synchronous reactance;
8) Synchronous generator, connection to the network, regulation of the active and reactive power;
9) Synchronous machine with amperian excitation: power supply on passive load, determination of voltage drop, Poiter triangle;
10) Direct current machine, experimental determination of the electromechanical characteristic.
