Course Program
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the main topics related to international economics, both real and monetary. To this end, the most important theoretical, empirical, and institutional elements will be presented, which will allow for an understanding of the evolution of the growing process of trade integration, the dynamics of exchange rates, and the overall functioning of the international monetary system.
At the end of the course, students will have acquired knowledge of the main theoretical and policy-related issues concerning economic integration, as well as the ability to evaluate the key aspects of the context in which commercial entities operate when engaging in international markets.

By the end of the course, the student is expected to possess:
a) a good knowledge of the topics covered during the course and the ability to consciously use the acquired tools; b) the ability to apply theoretical assumptions to examples of empirical cases; 
c) independent evaluative skills;
 d) the ability to synthesize.
