Description
The course aims to provide students with an overall knowledge of the regulation of economic activities and the functioning of regulated markets, from both a private law and public law perspective. Therefore the subjects of study will include public and private entities, contractual activities found in regulated markets and the correlated system of public control and supervision. 
The objective of the course will be to provide the student with a general understanding of the role of the State in the economy and the financial market, in its threefold division into the securities market (the so-called financial market), the banking market, and the insurance market.
