Description
Expected Results
The student, at the end of the course, will be able to identify the main types of ownership structures and management of companies and business groups, as well as the expectations of the main categories of investors such as families, mutual funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, states and banks.
At the end of the training course, the student will be able to:
  • Develop a critical approach to diversity and changes in business-based ownership and governance models;
  • Design ownership structures and governance models that:
     a. promote growth, development, and value creation by the company;
     b. comply with both national and international regulatory frameworks.
  • Make an assessment of the convenience of investing in a company by analyzing its governance structures and practices.

Part 1 - Corporate governance - Theories on the government of the enterprise (Management theory, agency theory, Stewardship Theory etc.) - Models and governing bodies 
Part 2 - Property and Management: role and functions. - the proprietary system; - management system; 
Part 3 - control systems - control systems in corporate governance - the Model 231.
