Public Building Laws 1
183610

Description
Participants will gain an overview of official responsibilities and the most important legal regulations (BauGB, BauNVO, HBO) and learn about the process from purchasing a plot of land to obtaining a building permit (e.g. building application, preliminary decision, building permit, list of building encumbrances). The course covers the necessary basic knowledge of building planning law (land use plan, development plan) and building regulations (responsibilities, procedures) and presents the possibilities for external influence on construction by municipalities and authorities (construction freeze, prohibition of use, removal order) and citizens (e.g. neighbour protection). The legal remedies available in individual situations, both for enforcing and preventing a construction project, are discussed.
Students thus acquire practical basic knowledge of public building law, enabling them to solve simple problems in a targeted manner with the aid of specialist literature or research.
