Historical perspectives in entrepreneurship

Description
The course aims to provide students with a solid knowledge of a selection of economic theories and approaches focusing on the entrepreneur and the entrepreneurial behavior. From a history of economic analysis perspective, the concept of entrepreneurship is explored in relation to innovation, technological change, information, risk and uncertainty. Following a multidisciplinary approach, also the non-economic factors (such as psychological, sociological, institutional and cultural) affecting the entrepreneurial behavior and creativity in general are fully investigated, together with their implications for economic dynamics and development.
