This module introduces the learner to three-dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling, and constructing solid models relating to parts and assemblies. The production of two-dimensional (2D) working drawings is also considered. It also introduces the role and application of computer-aided design relating to the manufacture of products.
