The study course examines heat processes in nature and technical equipment. Within the study course, students acquire basic knowledge of the fundamental laws of thermodynamics and the theory of heat exchange, acquiring basic skills in their practical use: calculations are performed to determine the parameters of gas and vapour mixtures and heat transfer processes. Within the study course, students acquire skills to work with air humidity and water vapour diagrams and to use the software for determining the thermophysical properties and thermodynamic cycle work points of specialized substances.
