This module develops the students knowledge of product development and new product development strategy. The subject also introduces advanced concepts including design semantics and semiotics and develops the field of design communication. The aim of this module is to provide the student with the tools and knowledge to discuss and explore critical issues of product design and development theory, strategy and communications.
