The study course includes the calculation methods of statically determinable and indeterminable bar systems, thus creating the basis for the acquisition of further study courses in construction mechanics and building structures. The study course describes the calculation of internal forces and stresses of structures and the evaluation of the load-bearing capacity. The link between structural analysis and such practical construction industries as design, manufacturing technology, as well as applied and computational mathematics and physics, is demonstrated.
