The aim is also to provide basic knowledge of infrastructure management with a focus on decision making.

The course will provide an overview of the use of modern sensor technology in infrastructure management. Smart infrastructures are designed to adapt to changing environmental conditions. The course will provide students with the opportunity to learn about the use and utilization of sensors and to study the basic concepts related to sensors, data processing and infrastructure inspection/ monitoring.
