Introduction to Civil Engineering Drawing and Design
BTG704

Description
The study course deals with the theoretical bases and practical issues regarding the deals with the projection methods, point, line, plane and representation of geometric primitives in pictorial views and multi-view drawings. In addition to the main drafting standards - formats, scales and lines, the representation of sectional views and sections, dimensioning, representation of threaded joints, assembly drawings and parts lists are considered. Included are special methods used in the construction, such as contour grading and their use in the development of projects related to earthworks, creation of architectural and construction drawings, drawings of reinforced concrete structures. A general overview of the use of computer-aided drawing and design systems in the preparation of construction project documentation is provided.
