Description

This course addresses the issues of fatigue and damage to structures and mechanisms. The occurrence of material fatigue cracks under static and dynamic loads, the occurrence of cracks in aggressive environments, contact corrosion, thermal durability are explained. Students are introduced to non-destructive testing methods of materials, focusing on experimental testing of fatigue, calculation of fatigue.
