The course introduces students to SolidWorks, an automated design system that can be used to quickly and accurately design 3-D solid models in a Microsoft Windows environment. The aim of the course is to prepare the student for solving engineering problems in undergraduate work. The objectives of the course are to teach students to work in SolidWorks software environment: to design three-dimensional models, to create general and detail drawings of individual parts, to create realistic and dynamic representations of models.
