The study course examines composite materials, their main types and components of composite materials: fibers and matrices. Initially, students acquire skills to analyze the macromechanics, deformation and stresses of composite materials, followed by micromechanical methods and models. The course pays special attention to the application of FEM in solving micromechanical models.
