The aim of experimental mechanics and technical diagnostics is to ensure reliable and high-quality operation of equipment and machines in the long run. In the course students get acquainted with the methods of measuring diagnostic parameters, technical means, mathematical modeling of objects, defectoscopy and introscopy. Examples of diagnostic methods and tools are acquired by looking at everyday equipment and machinery, such as automobile transport, aircrafts, sea and river transport, railway transport, building engineering structures, technological machines.
