Description

The Course will provide students with: a) basic knowledge of geology: structure and composition of the Earth. Origin and classification of rocks. Fragile and ductile tectonics. Rock drilling techniques. b) experimental procedure and conceptual framework to physically and mechanically characterize the different soil types in the perspective of their use for civil and environmental engineering purposes.
