Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
MEM_423

Description
 The objective of this course is to help students use their knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer to analyze and size different components of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems (HVAC). The course will examine components of residential and commercial systems, psychrometrics, comfort conditions, calculation of heating and cooling loads, air conditioning systems, air distribution, design/sizing of systems and equipment, and energy usage estimating.
