Heat transfer fluid installations: thermal loads in industry, steam distribution networks and heat exchange equipment. Burners and boilers.
Fuel installations: design of transport and storage installations (mobile and fixed) for liquid and gaseous fuels, design of receiving installations.
Refrigeration installations: calculation of thermal loads (cold rooms and industrial refrigeration), selection of components in vapour compression machines (evaporator, condenser, compressor and expansion device) and design of suction, discharge and liquid lines; absorption and adsorption machines. Air conditioning systems. Thermal loads in buildings (heating and cooling), system selection and equipment specification, control and regulation. Regulations for thermal installations.
