SAFETY IN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES

Description
At the end of the course the student should be able to:
1. Employ synthesis and analysis skills, in terms of how to apply the most common standards to the industry.
2. Use graphic language for the representation of an object, characterised by three dimensions, in a two-dimensional system such as the plane.
3. Define the minimum content of the self-protection plan, in such a way that it can be unequivocally interpreted by all the people involved in the process.
4. Skillfully use a computer design tool for the execution and visualisation of graphic representations and the production of plans. 
5. Use the standards relating to protection installations, appreciating the role of their application in the execution of the project, as well as in industry in general.
6. Basically define the industrial project document and its characteristics.
7. Develop activities in the field of safety performance, becoming aware of the responsibilities of the profession and the need to carry out rigorous actions within the same.
8. Describe the contents of the self-protection plan project, in application of the regulatory framework and specify the minimum parameters involved in the design configuration.
9. Represent security systems schemes using the symbology specific to each area of specialisation.
