ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY

Description
At the end of the course, students should:
1. Know, understand, diagnose, prevent and/or correct the negative effects that human activities have on our environment.
2. Have an adequate knowledge of the tools for environmental management and monitoring.
Know how to apply management tools.
3. Know the regulatory framework in which the actions are inserted.
4. To have consolidated the language, concepts and principles of environmental technology.
5. To have developed critical judgement and acquired the ability to apply environmental concepts to real problems in their professional activity.
6. Internalised the need for adequate industrial and technological growth compatible with sustainable development.
7. To have initiated the scientific study of environmental problems in their main aspects, atmospheric pollution, waste water, soil problems and hazardous waste.
8. Know and appreciate the importance of the physical, chemical and biological aspects of environmental phenomena.
9. Use the appropriate mathematical tools for the interpretation of environmental data.
