Description

Upon successful completion of this course Theory of Structures, students will be able to:
(1) Apply the fundamental assumptions and principles on which the Linear Theory of Structures is based.
(2) Formulate the appropriate physical-mathematical models to predict displacements, stresses and deformations in bar structures.
(3) Interpret the results obtained in structural analysis.
(4) Analyse how structures work.
(5) Handle structural analysis software.
