Lecture
-        System theoretical basics: Block diagram representation; Steady-state behaviour; Description of time behaviour; Stability of LTI systems; Elementary transmission behaviour
-        Analysis of simple control loops: Terms and designations in the control loop; components of control devices; transmission behaviour of classical controllers; behaviour of exemplary control loops;
-        Stability criteria: Nyquist; Hurwitz
-        Design of control loops: Requirements; controller structure; rules of thumb; design in the time and frequency domain 

Laboratory/Tutorial
-        Introduction to Simulink
-        Simulation of an RC element
-        Simulation of a selected control loop with MATLAB/Simulink
-        Identification of two systems with the help of test signals
