The Preparation for Practice 2 module prepares students for their probationary work experience period. It develops the learners understanding of the processes of building economics, all the standard forms of contract used in the built environment and their application in the professional duties of an architect and develops the principles and application of procurement and cost control. It comprises two components 1) Building Control, and 2) Procurement and Coordination and Design Cost Control.
