To master and numerically simulate various mechanical forming and manufacturing processes, the program involves:
- Understanding the technological aspects of conventional forming processes (forging, rolling, stamping, etc.).
- Through projects, acquiring and transmitting knowledge on less conventional forming processes.
- Understanding the basic concepts of nonlinear mechanics and associated behavior models.
- Being able to characterize and model material behavior during forming.
- Knowing how to numerically simulate various mechanical processes using specialized software (such as Abaqus, PAM-Stamp, and Forge)
