Introduction to materials processing
TN08

Description
Engineers regularly deal with the use of materials. It is necessary to understand, at various scales, the organization of matter in order to understand its properties and make choices regarding its use and shaping.

  • Know the main categories of materials.
  • Understand the effect of composition on properties.
  • Understand the main properties of materials.
  • Analyze different types of mechanical characterization and the mechanical behavior of materials.
  • Develop a methodology for analysis (economic, environmental, and technical) through a project.
