Properties of materials
MQ04

Description
Understanding the mechanical properties and behavior under external stresses of different materials (metals, polymers, composites, ceramics).

Program:
- To master the microstructure of materials through an introduction to crystallography and solid-state diffusion phenomena. - To understand the properties of materials and their characterization methods regarding fatigue, fracture, creep, wear, corrosion, and aging behaviors.
- To grasp calculation methods concerning these various properties.
- To know how to implement some experimental techniques for material property characterization, analyze, synthesize, and communicate the obtained results.
