Objectives:
The objective of this course is to learn about the role of information and communication technologies in solving problems in organisations. Students are introduced to the concept of Information Systems (IS) and the object-oriented design of these IS.
Programme:
-understanding the strategic alignment of the information system
-analysing business tasks
-establish functional requirements based on predefined requirements
assembling, formalising and validating technical and non-technical requirements for complex socio-technical systems
master object-oriented specification techniques, standards and methods (UML: use case, class, state-transition, sequence and activity diagrams)
-produce documentation
