Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics
BTG131

Description
The study course deals with the theoretical foundations of the representation of space objects in the plane. The study course intends to master various projection methods, methods of transformation of drawing elements, solving metric and intersection problems. The acquired basic practical skills are harmonized with the main drawing standards on the following topics: formats, scales, lines, views, sectional views, sections and dimensioning. The study course is finalized with an assembly drawing preparation, including a representation of thread joints, and preparation of bill of materials. The acquired theoretical knowledge is the basis for computer aided geometric modeling of engineering objects in the following specialized study courses
