Objectives:
The aim of this course is to understand some of the mechanisms of human communication using psychological models and tools: influence in groups, persuasion, commitment, submission to authority, non-verbal communication and group dynamics.
Learning Outcomes:
-analyse everyday communication situations (advertising, group discussions, etc.) using the models and tools proposed by psychology
-understanding the workings of social influence and persuasion
-carry out an observation, a survey or an experiment to explore a psychological and communication issue in greater depth
observe and understand the role of non-verbal communication
-analyse group dynamics
-identify the mechanisms of manipulation in everyday communication situations
