Structural Analysis II
CIV_225

Description
To provide a basic understanding of the theory and applications of the foundational principles of "indeterminate structures"

Upon successful completion of the course students are expected to be able to recognize the need for application of static analysis.

Students are also expected to be able to determine the internal forces as well as the displacements of the indeterminate structures.

Statically Indeterminate Structures. Analysis of Statically Indeterminate Structures by the Force Method. Force Method of Analysis. Displacement Method of Analysis: Slope-Deflection Equations. Displacement Method of Analysis: Moment Distribution. Displacement Method of Analysis: Slope-Deflection Equations. Matrix for Structural Analysis.
