Principles of Geoinformatics and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Description
-        Thorough understanding of geographic information as a way to represent real-world features.
-        Introduction to the basics of importing, processing, manipulating and analyzing geospatial information.
  • Familiarize students with GIS software (both open-source and proprietary). 

-        Understanding the basic theoretical concepts of Geoinformatics and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) 
-        Basic Knowledge of processing and analyzing geographical data.
-        Ability to use GIS software to perform basic geoprocessing tasks.
Making proper decisions when it comes to visualizing and initial processing of geospatial information.
