Integrated Design for Civil Engineers & Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineers I

Description
The purpose of the course is to train students in integrating the knowledge and skills they have acquired in various disciplines and in understanding and utilizing the tools necessary to solve Civil Engineering and Geomatics problems.

The various learning methods used in the course aim to enable students to develop a significant level of understanding of appropriate tools as well as the development of relevant skills necessary to work effectively in a professional problem-solving field in the fields of Civil Engineering and Geomatics. 

Upon successful completion of the course students are expected to be able to develop a significant level of understanding of appropriate tools as well as the development of relevant skills necessary to work effectively in a professional problem-solving field in Civil Engineering and Geomatics.

Through lectures and various other learning methods used in the course, students will develop skills for integration from various disciplines, better teamwork skills, knowledge of problem-solving methodology and the modeling principles of engineering problems and develop leadership and communication skills. Students will also be able to prepare a portfolio for important project teamwork assigned to them.
