Geodesy II

Description
Repeating Basic Concepts from the Course Geodesy I. Angle Measurements: Definitions, Angle and Distance Measurements. Measurement methods and calculations, precision. Length measurements: Length measuring instruments and systems (tape measure - EDM). Measurement methods, corrections and reductions, precision. Altitude: Basic concepts, methods for determining altitude differences, geometric spacing (instruments, measurement methodology, calculations, precision). Trigonometric altimetry (instruments, measurement methodology, calculations and corrections, precision). Differential tracking systems: General principles, reference systems, instruments, complete tracking. Area. Volumes. Traverse. Stakeout.
 

The course includes hands-on training (use of geodetic instruments: Total Station, GNSS). Emphasis is placed on the use of the Total Station for surveying (mapping, mapping, etc.)
