Mathematics II
CIV_117

Description
The objectives of the course are: to understand the concepts and methods of linear algebra and the differential and integral calculus of two or three variables functions.

Upon successful completion of the course students are expected to be able to:
1. to use the concept of vector in the detailed geometry of straight lines and planes of three-dimensional space
2. study and solve linear equation systems by table methods
3. know the properties of tables and horizons and can solve algebraic problems with these objects
4. understand the concept of eigenvector and eigenvalue, know their algebraic properties, and apply these concepts to table competition
5. apply the concept of a partial derivative to problems of maximum and minimum and study of the function of two variables
6. calculate double and finite integrals, know and use the relation between them, calculate simple triple and surface integrals
