Professional Skills for Civil and Geomatics Engineers I

Description
The main objective of the course is to reflect on the role of engineering science in shaping the environment and the way of living of citizens and to develop their professional skills including communication, presentation, research, teamwork, problem solving, conducting and writing a study. 
Upon successful completion of the course students are expected to be able to have an initial understanding of the role of Engineering science in forming the environment and the way of living of its citizens.
Students will also have the opportunity to develop at a first level the important skills necessary for a successful professional career in their role as Civil and Surveying Engineers and Geoinformatics Engineers. These include communication, presentation, research, teamwork, problem solving, study and writing skills.
