At the end of the training program, the student must be able to:
Design a system that processes continuous signals using a discrete system. Analyze the spectra of the sequences at each point of the block diagram taking into account parameters such as sampling frequency, and change of said frequency using interpolator and decimator blocks.
Design block processing systems with real-time sequences.
Solve analysis problems of linear and time-invariant systems using the Z transform and justify its properties.
Apply the theoretical methods of designing digital low-pass filters to obtain said filter using mathematical software.
Relate the effect on the signals of the different designed filters.
Work on the time-frequency representations of signals and understand their resolution limitations.
