Introduction to programming

Description
 Introduction to programming is a mandatory fundamental curriculum of the bachelor's degree program in direction 5.3 "Communication and Computer Engineering". The knowledge and skills in Introduction to programming create prerequisites for program solving of practical tasks and multifaceted realization of students in the field of information technologies. 
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The aim of the course is for students to learn fundamental concepts for the use of computers and acquiring habits for modern programming technologies. They will be able to apply the approaches, methods and technical means and the basic principles of the structural approach in their programming and implementation with the means of a specific high-level algorithmic language. At the end of his / her education the student will: have skills for using high-level algorithmic language; knows the basics of the structural approach in programming; knows and uses the main libraries in a high level language for programming; can develop programs using the object-oriented approach; has knowledge of the technology for interception and handling of exceptions and errors in his program; knows the principles of operation for data storage and processing; solves typical engineering problems with high-level programming language tools.
