Roads I - Project
CFDP37.00

Description
  • Introductory elements: presentation of the site plan with contour lines, establishment of origin-destination points, explanation of the working method (requirements for project classes), multiplication/copying of plans, statement of the design assignment.
  •  Design in plan view – route variant 1: drawing alignments and connecting them with circular curves.
  •  Design in plan view – route variant 1: staking out, determining the elevations of stakes, establishing the road area and drainage possibilities.
  •  Design in longitudinal profile – route variant 1: the existing ground line / black line.
  •  Design in longitudinal profile – route variant 1: the design grade line / red line.
  •  Progressive curves versus circular curves.
  •  Design in plan view – route variant 2: drawing alignments and connecting them with progressive/transition curves.
  •  Design in plan view – route variant 2: staking out, determining the elevations of stakes, establishing the road area and drainage possibilities.
  •  Design in longitudinal profile – route variant 2: the existing ground line / black line.
  •  Design in longitudinal profile – route variant 2: the design grade line / red line.
  •  Design in cross-section – preparation of the standard cross-section (straight alignment, circular curve and progressive/transition curve).
  •  Technical-economic indicators – preliminary quantity estimate and cost evaluation for route variant 1.
  •  Technical-economic indicators – preliminary quantity estimate and cost evaluation for route variant 2.
