  •  The road in longitudinal profile – elements of the longitudinal profile. 
  •  The road in longitudinal profile – design of the red line and gradients connection. 
  •  The road in cross-section – general aspects, types of profiles, arrangement of standard profiles, devices for collecting and draining rainwater. 
  •  Cross-section of the road – constituent elements, road camber, standard cross-section. 
  •  Elements of aesthetics and visual comfort in road design. 
  •  The road on straight sections and curves. Arrangement of the superelevation ramp. 
  •  Route study, types of routes. 
  •  Vertical planning and hairpin turns.
