C1.  Foundations and foundation soil. General design rules according to SR EN 1997-1. Selection of the foundation type. Discussions, lecture notes, explanations. 
C2. Foundation classification. Minimum foundation depth. Materials.
C3. Bearing capacity limit state calculation according to accepted codes and norms.
C4. General principles for the structural design of infrastructures. Definitions. Requirements regarding the design of substructures and foundations. Foundation types. Internal forces in substructure elements.  Structural idealization for infrastructure analysis. 
C5.  Foundations for structures with continuous masonry or concrete walls. Foundations in areas with low seismicity and high seismicity. foundations for non-structural walls.
C6. Joints in foundations. Foundations on soils with special behavior.
C7. Isolated foundations. 
C8. Continuous foundations under columns.
C9. Continuous beams in two directions. Numerical methods. Raft foundations. Constructive solutions.  Raft design elements. Geotechnical and structural design of raft foundations.
