Modeling and optimization of structures and processes
IC03

Description
Objectives :
Provide theoretical and practical training in modelling and meta-modelling, meshing  and optimisation techniques applied to structures and processes.

Program description :
  • Analyse a model (field of application, exogenous and endogenous parameters,  notion of metamodel)
  • Know the importance of mesh size and remeshing techniques, the degree of  interpolation and inversion methods
  • Be familiar with digital experimental design techniques
  • Be familiar with the different optimization approaches, even in uncertain contexts,  and choose a method according to the applications
  • Within the framework of a project, know how to deploy a modelling and  optimisation methodology on a process (additive manufacturing, shaping process,  etc.)
