The course aims to introduce students to German culture. Information about intercultural concepts (e.g. intercultural communication, culture shock) will be provided. The course will also include practical experiences to familiarise students with life in Germany. Practical tasks will be set for students to promote their awareness of German and their own culture, as well as the differences between the two.
