The module consists of preparatory and follow-up seminar parts and a one-week excursion to IFAT (trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management). The focus of the content is on understanding the practical application of machines, procedures and processes. The excursion offers insights into practice and serves to explain and supplement the issues previously addressed in the lectures. The module is offered every 2 years depending on IFAT and the topics change.
The module includes a compulsory excursion to IFAT in Munich (usually in May), the world's most
largest trade fair for environmental technologies.
